What is Tete? 

Tete is the "official" tennis club of Otaniemi and TKK students. We welcome all non-finnish speaking and foreign  students to join TeTe. We have hundreds of members including many foreign students, too. You can also join Tete even if you studied in different university. 

How to Join TeTe?

In order to join Tete and participate in the Tete series and events you have to pay the yearly membership fee. You can pay the fee to our bank account 130930-202564 with the reference number 1119. Be also in touch with Tete's treasurer ( Tämä sähköpostiosoite on suojattu roskapostia vastaan, aseta javascripttuki päälle nähdäksesi osoitteen. ) so that we get your contact informations. The one-year membership fee is 10 € (20€ for graduated members) at the moment.

Join our internal tennis series ! 

We have an internal tennis series that runs throughout the year. The series is an online information system available at the tete.fi web site. The language of the system is English! The series system works so that the players are divided into groups in which they play against each other in each round. Usually during the semester there are at least 100 players in the series. You are likely to find a group at your level regardless if you are a beginner or professional. You can join the series by sending e-mail to the series representative ( Tämä sähköpostiosoite on suojattu roskapostia vastaan, aseta javascripttuki päälle nähdäksesi osoitteen. ). He/she will then select a suitable group for you. The system can be found at sarjaweb.tete.fi and you can try it with login 'guest' and password 'tete'.

Tennis Courses 

Tete organizes several Tennis courses during the semester. Most of the courses are for beginners and post-beginners but there are sometimes courses also for competing players. You can ask for english information of the tennis courses from the coaching representative ( Tämä sähköpostiosoite on suojattu roskapostia vastaan, aseta javascripttuki päälle nähdäksesi osoitteen. ). 

Events 

All kind of tennis events are organized by Tete every now and then.  Events can be game days, sauna evenings, excursions or almost anything.  Information about the events is sent through our mailing list. You can subscribe to our mailing list by sending mail to the Tete informer ( Tämä sähköpostiosoite on suojattu roskapostia vastaan, aseta javascripttuki päälle nähdäksesi osoitteen. ). Most emails are in Finnish but many of them have English briefings. You can also try to follow our event calendar in our web site (in Finnish)

Representative Teams

TeTe has many teams in the national league. In order to join the league representative teams you are expected to participate in coaching in our beginner-level tennis courses.

Tennis halls

There are many tennis halls scattered around the metropolitan area. The nearest tennis hall to Otaniemi is located in Tapiola (Tapiolan tennispuisto, Tapiola Tennispark). You can see a full list of the tennis halls in the tennis halls page .
